About Terhal

Terhal was founded under the direction of Eng. Thamer Al-Omar to provide practical, well-organized travel guides that help travelers plan clearly and make better decisions: choosing the right destination and neighborhood, discovering landmarks, restaurants and hotels, and building a day-by-day itinerary.

For Arabic-speaking travelers in general, and for Saudi and Gulf travelers specifically — we pay attention to details that matter to them, such as electrical plug type, how family-friendly a place is, and budgeting in Saudi riyals.

Instead of browsing dozens of scattered articles, Terhal brings the practical information for each destination together in one place: where to stay, what to visit, where to eat, and how to tie it all together into a single daily plan you can adjust to your own interests.

We rely on official sources first, then trusted travel sources when official ones aren't available. Any information that can change carries a verification date and its source, and when sources conflict we show that clearly instead of picking a number at random. See the full methodology page.

Terhal started with Istanbul, then added Dubai and Bangkok with the same level of verification and detail — more cities will be added gradually. The platform itself isn't tied to any single city.
