Where Terhal's exchange rates come from

The converter on the currency pages reads a periodically refreshed snapshot, not a live market rate. Use it to size a budget, not to make an actual exchange decision. What you receive in practice differs from the reference rate because of the desk or bank margin and commission, so always ask for the final amount you will be handed before you give up your cash, and compare at least two offices.
